Sending birthday greetings automatically

If you would like to send your subscribers an automated mailing on their birthday (for example with greetings or a birthday voucher), this is easily possible as follows.

Creating a personalisation

Create a personalisation called "Date of birth" with the type "Date". The personalisation "Date of birth" should then be maintained for every subscriber. This can be done once by importing the personalisations and with every new subscription. Make sure that the personalisation "Date of birth" is requested when subscribing. The date must have the following format: "DD.MM.YYYY", for example "22.04.1972".

Creating a follow-up

Now create a suitable draft for your greetings / voucher. When the draft is ready, create a "follow-up" for it. As the sending option, choose "on" or "X days before / after" the personalisation "Date of birth".
