Authenticating your email domain

To make sure that your emails reach the recipient's inbox, please set up email domain authentication (DKIM (opens in a new tab), SPF (opens in a new tab) and, if applicable, DMARC (opens in a new tab)). Internet providers such as Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, web.de and GMX check incoming emails for SPAM and manipulation. Emails from senders who are not authorised are then more likely to end up in the SPAM folder.

Authorisation to send with your domain is configured in the DNS (Domain Name Service). If you do not know who your DNS provider is, please forward these instructions to the person responsible for your IT. If you have any questions, our support team (opens in a new tab) will be happy to help.

Even though the technical implementation is optional, we recommend it to all users.

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM)

Setting up DKIM only requires a CNAME record. This CNAME points to our DomainKey, with which we then sign your emails. This increases the delivery rate and shows that we are allowed to send on your behalf.

Here is an example of the configuration to be made with your DNS provider:

TypeNameValueTTL
CNAMEnt._domainkeydkim.newstroll.de.Default

Example in a zone file:

nt._domainkey IN CNAME dkim.newstroll.de.
