White-label return path
Setting up your own return path
If you would also like to use the return path with your domain, the following DNS entry (CNAME) is required on your side:
| Type | Name | Value | TTL |
|---|---|---|---|
| CNAME | bounce | bounce.newstroll.de | Default |
Example entry in the zone file:
bounce IN CNAME 86400 bounce.newstroll.de.
The name bounce is an example here for using the return path [...]@bounce.example.com. This entry ensures that all bounce messages are sent to our email server, so that bounce management is active.
Sender Policy Framework (SPF)
When we send emails with your return path, no additional SPF entry is required. The CNAME above already uses our SPF entry and ensures that our servers are allowed to send.
